THIS HOUSE WOULD SUPPORT THE RISE OF THE FUEL PRICE

MEANING

ü      Support is give approval, comfort, or encouragement .

ü      Rise is increase in number, size, amount, or degree .

ü      Fuel is material such as coal, gas, or oil that is burned to produce heat or power .

ü      Price is the amount of money expected, required, or given in payment for something

There are a few reasons fuel have raised:

•The world economic outlook. "Economic growth in the U.S. is better than expected — not great growth, but taking small steps forward," says David Ginther, manager of the Ivy Energy fund. A resolution to the Greek debt problem could mean a shallower recession in Europe than was expected at the start of 2012.

•Emerging markets. Most people who have traded in a horse or a bike for a car have been glad they did. In emerging markets, such as China and India, car sales are booming — as is petroleum consumption.

•World unrest. Troubles in Syria, Libya and Iran have raised the fear of war in the Middle East. Others worry about an Arab Spring uprising in Nigeria, where about half the people are Muslim.

sorry, i lost a lot of my data about this materisl, so, i'll just share, some that i can still found and i searches. it's not complete yet. i know there'll be so many arguments beside of this one. so i just share what can i share.!

THBT Peace is out of reach

Peace : the normal, nonwarring condition of a nation, group of nations, or the world. 

Out of reach : inaccessibly located or situated

Affirmative

It has been said that all nations are either preparing for war, at war or recovering

from war. It has also been noted that history has recorded over 14,600 wars.

And this figure was derived in the mid-1960s. Men seem to invariably go to war

in search of peace. But, the outcome of war usually involves a truce, but always

fails to yield permanent peace. This is because men cannot, and never will, find

the way to peace on their own without outside help. In reality, they have no

chance to achieve world peace. Here is why.

The sheer number of wars down through history suggests there have been precious few years of peace. In a 1935 speech Gen. MacArthur stated: "In the last 3,400 years only 268—less than 1 in 13—have been free from wars. No wonder that Plato, the wisest of all men, once exclaimed, 'Only the dead have seen the end of war'! Where are Babylon, Persia, Carthage, Rome, and Byzantium?

Parameter penting sekali karena dalam perdebatan akan muncul ide-ide baru yang nantinya tidak akan bertemu pada satu titik.Maka gunanya parameter untuk membatasi isi daripada pembicaraan.
Parameter juga bisa digunakan sebagai penjebak apabila team lawan berargumen yg keluar dari parameter anda.
Jika Affirmative Team tidak memberikan parameter maka haknya bisa diambil oleh Negatif Team dan itu sangat berbahaya, karena jalur pembicaraan dipegang oleh team lawan.
